ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Starting Friday, it may be easier to find a parking space in downtown Anchorage, at least on the west side of town. EasyPark has converted 26 meters on Christensen Drive from 10-hour parking to two.
EasyPark Director Jeff Read said the change was requested by businesses and visitors who had difficulty finding spaces in that area.
“They want to park as conveniently as possible to the business they want to go to, so having that 2-hour meter creates that turnover at the curb to bring people into the nearby businesses,” Read said…
