Paul Peter Gerardi, the man accused of being the getaway driver in three Northern Virginia bank robberies, remains at large after failing to appear in court to answer for the incidents.
Gerardi is accused of being the getaway driver for robberies the Truist Bank in Middleburg on March 24, a bank robbery in Fairfax Countyw on March 30, and a bank robbery in Prince William County on April 1. His partner, Josiah Jackman, died by suicide during a standoff with Loudoun deputies at his Hamilton home on April 15.
Gerardi was arrested in Herndon that same day and was released from Loudoun County custody on bond by a magistrate. He failed to appear in court in Loudoun on May 5 and was then charged with failure to appear and probation violation. He also failed to appear for his charges in Fairfax County, and bench warrants have been issued by both jurisdictions…
