Lafayette Parish Schools System announces new leadership appointments

LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA. (KLFY) – The Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) has announced two leadership appointments involving district and school administration.

LPSS has announced Pamela-Rae Hovey has been named Director of Construction, Facilities, and Maintenance and Dr. Brandon Bonner has been named principal of Judice Middle School.

Hovey brings 20 years of educational experience to the role, including 11 years in administration and the past five as principal of Judice Middle School. She began her career teaching English and speech at Opelousas Junior High and Opelousas Senior High and later served as an assistant principal at several Acadiana schools.
