A woman has pleaded guilty in connection with a high-speed crash that killed two teenage girls and seriously injured a third victim in New Orleans.
Joneaka Smooth pleaded guilty Friday, May 8, to two counts of manslaughter, one count of attempted manslaughter and one count of obstruction of justice. The charges stem from a 2024 crash on Saint Bernard Avenue.
