Local grand jury issues indictments for vehicular homicide, endangerment crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments on Friday for vehicular homicide and wanton endangerment crimes.

Thirty-six-year-old Gerasimos Livieratos of Chicago, Illinois, was indicted on multiple charges after he was reportedly involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision in Hopkinsville on March 7. According to a report, Livieratos was traveling southbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard when he attempted to make a U-turn. As he was turning, Bernice Franklin of Clarksville was traveling north and collided with Liveieratos’ semi-truck. Franklin was pronounced deceased at the scene.

He was charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence of a substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a substance, possession of marijuana, reckless driving, improper turning and failure to signal…
