CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — Drivers parking in downtown Caldwell may notice missing chunks of pavement in some parking areas as crews prepare for an upcoming road improvement project.
The City of Caldwell says asphalt has been removed in certain parking stall corners so crews can complete overlay work. Milling on Kimball Avenue and Ninth Avenue took place on Wednesday night.
The corner areas were removed ahead of time because larger equipment cannot access them. All pavement is expected to be restored Sunday night, with final striping and finishing work expected to be completed by Thursday, May 21…
