One person was killed in an early morning that broke out at a boarded-up commercial building in San Bernardino Sunday.
Firefighters with the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District responded to a fire on the 500 block of D Street at 6:34 a.m. Firefighters arrived within minutes and saw heavy smoke coming from the building.
