L.A. County vehicle theft turns into shopping spree with stolen credit cards

Police asked for help Monday in their search for two suspects who stole a car and used the victim’s credit cards to go on a shopping spree in Los Angeles County earlier this year.

The two male suspects took the victim’s vehicle, which also contained a purse, from a driveway on the 34000 block of Desert Road in Acton around 3 a.m. on March 7, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators said the men conducted several transactions using access/credit cards that they found inside the purse. The department did not mention where the suspects went or what items were purchased.
