NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple days of rain chances are likely to bring inches of beneficial rainfall to Middle Tennessee!
Abnormally dry weather has caused worsening drought conditions over the last few months, and we have seen some rain but not enough to improve the drought affecting all of Tennessee.
So far, Nashville has recorded just over half an inch of rain during the first half of May. This has caused the drought to persist.
The latest forecast model data is showing a much more active pattern. The News 2 Weather Authority Team is forecasting medium to high rain chances from Tuesday, May 19, through Memorial Day.
This timing isn’t great for getting outside and enjoying the long holiday weekend, but it is good for the drought…
