LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit officials have identified Jessica Baker, 40, who was found deceased in the 2000 block of Avenue L on Sunday afternoon.

According to a press release, officers responded to the report of a suicide at approximately 3:40 p.m. on May 17 and found Baker unresponsive at the scene. EMS arrived shortly after and pronounced Baker deceased at the scene.
Officials say that there were suspicious factors, leading to a Metro callout being initiated.
No arrests have been made at this time, and LPD officials state this appears to be an isolated incident and there are no threats to the public at this time…
