‘A complete SCAM’: KY AG alleges wildlife control company runs ‘coordinated scheme’ in new lawsuit

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The owner of a wildlife control company that has been the subject of several Troubleshooter reports is being sued by Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman.

In a lawsuit filed Friday, AG Coleman called the actions of owner, Beau Gast over the years “deceptive” and “misleading.” The agency has been investigating Gast’s business operations since 2025, after numerous customers raised concerns through the AG’s consumer complaints division.

One of the first questions raised in the lawsuit is how a 42-year-old man could own and operate a company founded in Louisville in 1980. That is something Gast’s website for Louisville Critter Ridder claims to be the case…
