STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Emergency medical technicians, paramedics and students gathered for the 32nd Annual EMS Recognition Ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomfield, where they were honored for their life-saving service to the Staten Island community.
For the past three decades, the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee have continued the tradition of recognizing EMTs, paramedics, emergency service instructors and students within the emergency services community.
This year, the committee joined with the Staten Island EMS Task Force to help kick off National EMS Week.
