Troubled, historic Birmingham cemetery under investigation after shutting down without warning

The Alabama Board of Funeral Services is investigating recourse for the Birmingham community after a cemetery shut down without warning this week.

Zion Memorial Gardens, used for burials since the mid-1800s, announced the closure on a sign posted to its front door that has since been removed.
