Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin has unveiled a proposed $615 million operating budget for fiscal year 2027 that includes major investments in neighborhood revitalization, public safety, youth programs, public transportation and city employees.
The proposal now heads to the Birmingham City Council for review and consideration.
