North Carolina farmers facing dire choices as drought continues

SHELBY, N.C. (WBTV) – Farmers across the Charlotte region are facing dire choices as the drought continues. Their decisions now could affect what you’re paying at the grocery store later.

Some people are trying to move or even sell cattle because they simple can’t feed them. Farmers said with a lack of hay, they’re having to make the tough decisions and it could eventually impact prices we see at the grocery store.
