HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Owensboro man will spend the next 24 years in federal prison after being sentenced on a crime spree that involved multiple business robberies and carjackings across Jefferson and Bullitt counties.
Federal officials state 47-year-old Daniel York entered Nick’s Vape & Smoke Shop in Louisville on November 4, 2024, pointed a gun at an employee and took cash and the employee’s vehicle. On November 5, York entered a Louisville Marathon gas station, pointed a gun at an employee and took cash and the employee’s phone. On November 6, York entered a Hillview O’Reilly Auto Parts, pointed a gun at several employees and took one of the employees’ vehicles.
