BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a man in connection with a local auto theft ring that targeted Dodge Chargers and Challengers.
BRPD stated that detectives with the Special Investigations Division and Auto Theft Unit began investigating the theft ring in April 2026. Investigators identified Calvin James as a suspect.
