JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Some Mississippians say their driver’s licenses are coming back “invalid” or not scanning at all at TSA checkpoints and retail locations.
Dennis Scheiwe was one of them when he flew out of the Jackson airport in January. He had renewed his Mississippi driver’s license in May of last year and had no reason to expect a problem at the TSA checkpoint.
“He scanned it again. He says, it’s not valid. I said, well, could you try it a couple more times? Because it’s a new driver’s license. There should be nothing wrong with it. He tried it. It’s invalid, sir,” Scheiwe said…
