Asheville’s Citizen Vinyl relocates to larger facility in Weaverville

WEAVERVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A downtown business located on the first floor of the old Asheville Citizen-Times building on O. Henry Avenue has relocated.

According to a news release, Citizen Vinyl, which sold vinyl records and was known as being North Carolina’s first vinyl record pressing plant, has moved to a larger facility in Weaverville.

The new address is 179 Merrimon Avenue. Citizen Vinyl said the move was necessary to “keep up with growing demand.”…
