Emergency food distribution planned in Two Rivers after power outages

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) – An emergency food distribution is being organized in Two Rivers following recent severe weather and extended power outages that have impacted homes in the area.

Officials are encouraging anyone affected by prolonged outages to attend the distribution, which will take place across from the Two Rivers Senior Center on Adams Street between 17th and 18th streets starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Organizers say they are prepared to serve up to 300 households. Each emergency allotment may include one pound of hamburger, a half-gallon of milk, butter, cheese, one dozen eggs, frozen fruit and a mixed shelf-stable food box.
