WADSWORTH, Ohio — A proposal to transfer nearly $490,000 from a long-dormant parkland acquisition fund into Wadsworth’s general fund drew pushback Monday from several City Council members, who argued the money should remain dedicated to parks-related projects.
The discussion came during a Wadsworth City Council committee meeting as officials considered legislation authorizing the transfer of $489,533.74 from the city’s parkland acquisition fund.
