Wilma Dykeman Greenway extension proposed; officials seek public input

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The North Carolina Department of Transportation and the City of Asheville are proposing an extension to the Wilma Dykeman Greenway along the French Broad River.

According to a news release, the project would add nearly half a mile of new greenway, connecting the existing trail just North of Hill Street to the Riverside Drive multi-use path.
