Experts share what to look for when buying used cars following vehicle fraud investigation in Vestavia

VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (WBRC) – Officers in Vestavia Hills say six people stole cars, tampered with odometers and titles, and then sold them.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) said this type of scam isn’t uncommon, but it is uncommon to see scammers get caught.
