Wrongful-death lawsuit filed after Trussville shooting killed 22-year-old woman

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A wrongful-death lawsuit filed recently blames Jeffrey Towers for the shooting death of Whitney Robeson, a 22-year-old woman killed in March at a home in Trussville.

Robeson’s family sued Towers in connection with the March 7 shooting. Towers, 54, faces reckless manslaughter charges in the case.
