Unsettled Memorial Day forecast with more rain ahead

Gray skies and gloomy weather are going to stick around today, and you’d better get used to it because more chances for rain are expected throughout the week.

Temperatures will stay well below average today as we start the morning in the 50s. At best, highs will only climb into the lower 60s by sunset.

Overcast skies will dominate the pattern with periods of drizzle and the chance for an isolated shower throughout the day. We may see a few rays of sunshine late this afternoon or evening, but don’t expect much clearing.

We begin to warm back up on Thursday as temperatures climb into the lower 70s with a little more sunshine peeking through the clouds. Another chance of rain arrives overnight into the start of Friday.

An unsettled and soggy pattern will continue through the rest of the week and into Memorial Day weekend, with daily chances for rain remaining in the forecast. The good news is that widespread heavy rainfall and severe weather are not expected at this time…
