Several people exposed to ‘unknown substance’ being treated at UNM Hospital

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Several people who were exposed to an unknown substance are being treated for various issues at UNM Hospital, UNM Health Sciences announced Wednesday just before noon.

The individuals were exposed in Torrance County and were taken to the hospital shortly after 10 a.m. for decontamination and treatment. UNM Health Sciences Communications Manager Brianna Mortensen said in an email that the patients were experiencing headache, nausea, and vomiting.
