A crash briefly closed all eastbound lanes at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel in Hampton Thursday, causing significant traffic delays, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on I-64 in the City of Hampton at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel eastbound. Investigators say a pickup truck made a lane change near the Mallory Street ramp and was struck by a Hampton Roads Transit bus. The pickup then lost control, struck a jersey wall, and was struck again by the bus before rolling over.
The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Charges are pending in connection with the lane change. No one on the bus was injured…
