LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A former mental health counselor is facing charges after police say she groomed a student while working at a Clark County middle school.
Investigators with the Jeffersonville Police Department say the inappropriate relationship between the counselor and the student went on for months, from October 2024 to February 2025. The counselor, Audrey Hughes, was not employed by Greater Clark County Schools (GCCS), but worked at Parkview Middle School.
