Visitors got a sneak peek inside Mobile’s new international airport terminal Thursday, during a national “roadshow” highlighting major infrastructure projects.
The new terminal is on track to be substantially complete by this fall, and to open in early 2027 after two roundabouts are constructed to provide smooth traffic access. When it opens, commercial passenger traffic will shift from west Mobile to the new facility, which is much closer to downtown and has direct interstate access.
