NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Following a Norfolk Public Schools bus incident that injured a student in April, Nexstar’s WAVY received video that shows the child falling out of the back of the moving bus.
On April 16, bus No. 219 was transporting children from The Academy for Discovery at Lakewood, Virginia.
The bus was coming down Hampton Boulevard, a busy thoroughfare, when the driver took a sharp right-hand turn. In the rear of the bus, a female student falls out of the emergency exit to the street below.
