Portland clothing store struggling after vandalism, break-in

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Midtowners Market, a local clothing store on Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, is struggling to stay open after it was the target of vandalism and a break-in within two weeks.

The store also operates under consignment and sells new, used and vintage clothes, as well as gifts and unique pieces from local artists. It’s been at its Hawthorne location for nearly three years without any major security issues, but in April, the store was vandalized.
