Crowds should begin thinning soon at Oregon’s tallest waterfall — at least a little.
Timed-entry parking parking permits will once again be required to visit Multnomah Falls this summer, an effort to manage the busy crowds that tend to overwhelm the famous Columbia River Gorge waterfall.
Permits issued by the U.S. Forest Service will be required from Friday, May 22, to Monday, Sept. 7. They are available for hourly slots between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day and are required for all cars parking in the Interstate 84 lot for Multnomah Falls…
