CLEVELAND — Three people were taken to the hospital after a fallen light pole led to a crash on the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway Thursday evening.
According to the Cleveland Division of Fire, the utility pole fell over around 4:18 p.m. on state Route 2 west near the East 9th Street exit. Cleveland police say a car headed westbound then hit the pole before being struck from behind by a second vehicle. Additionally, a third vehicle going east was hit by debris from the initial wreck.
The three victims were all transported from the scene with minor injuries, per police. The Shoreway has since been cleared and traffic is moving normally…
