Dauphin Highlands Golf Course could close early under new agreement

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Dauphin Highlands Golf Course could face an early closure under a newly signed agreement.

On Wednesday, the Dauphin County General Authority signed an agreement with Provident Realty that would allow them to close the golf course before its contracted closing date on Dec. 31, 2027.

If the Texas-based company chooses to close Dauphin Highlands this year, they would be required to enter into lease agreement with the DCGA until Nov. 16. County officials say the agreement would allow Dauphin Highlands to continue its golf season through the rest of the year…
