Tennessee Bureau of Investigation called in for fifth incident involving task force since October

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A 25-year-old man is dead following a shooting involving the Memphis Safe Task Force, marking the fifth incident since October that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called to investigate involving the task force.

Jonah Neal died after a call to law enforcement escalated Wednesday evening in the area of Raleigh LaGrange and Westchester Drive, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

TBI said Neal made threats to harm himself and had multiple weapons inside the home. Things escalated and he was shot by Homeland Security, but it’s not clear if he died from the gunshot or self-inflicted stab wounds…
