ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — An investigation is underway after a woman reported she was attacked while running in the Bent Creek Experimental Forest south of Asheville.
Emily Sutherland, an Asheville-based outdoor content creator, posted on social media Thursday night that she was “attacked by a man” while finishing a 13-mile trail in the Bent Creek area.
She says the man then followed her in his car before parking, exiting his vehicle and attempting to punch her multiple times. She claims the man “threatened to ‘knock me out and drag me into the woods.'”…
