Suspect cooked food during break-in at Greensboro Popeyes, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating a break-in at a Popeyes restaurant after an individual allegedly entered the business early Thursday morning, cooked food and stole additional items before leaving.

Police said officers were notified about the incident at approximately 5 a.m. at the Popeyes located at 3228 W. Gate City Blvd.

Investigators determined the suspect gained access to the inside of the restaurant, cooked shrimp, biscuits and fries, and took other items from the business before fleeing the scene…
