Toddler attacked by dog; child hospitalized with injuries, dogs contained by deputies

SAN ANTONIO – A 2-year-old girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries after she was attacked and bitten by a dog in the 2300 block of Rosillos Peak, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

A complainant called to report that a toddler had been attacked and was “alert and breathing.” There was no additional information available at the time of the call on the child’s condition.

Salazar said the dogs involved were contained after the attack. “One of our deputies was able to catch them and contain them in a, in a patrol car,” he said…
