SHREVEPORT, La. — A driver has died after loosing control on a wet roadway Thursday night at the Pines Road entrance ramp to Interstate 20 east, Shreveport police said Friday.
The driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette was traveling on the eastbound on-ramp, began sliding, hit the guardrail then went about 50 yards into a grassy area, police said.
The driver suffered severe abdominal injuries after the guardrail penetrated the driver’s side door. Members of the Shreveport Fire Department responded to the scene and took the driver to Ochsner LSU Health with life-threatening injuries…
