MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A water main break in the Town of Old Fort has led to a boil water advisory being issued for multiple businesses and homes.
A water main break was reported in from of the Old Fort EMS Base on 1580 East Main Street. The break has led to a loss of water pressure in the system.
Officials ask that all homes and businesses located east of the Base that are served by the Town of Old Fort water system to boil their water until further notice…
