Woman stabbed at Ga. restaurant in seemingly random attack

DECATUR, Ga. – A woman was stabbed outside of a popular brunch restaurant chain in what police called a random attack.

The woman was stabbed in the back at a First Watch restaurant in Decatur on Tuesday afternoon.

Memorial Day is the start of what law enforcement calls the “100 Deadly Days of Summer” − a time of year that’s known for a spike in lethal wrecks.

“She reported she was eating lunch at the restaurant, and an unknown person came up and stabbed her once in the back. She was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury,” officers with DeKalb County Police said…
