HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – No tsunami is expected following a magnitude 5.9 earthquake that occurred on the western flank of Mauna Loa Friday.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported the the quake’s origin time was 9:46 p.m. with preliminary coordinates of 19.3N, 155.9W, the warning center said.
