MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile Regional Airport posted on its Facebook page a lighting strike has damaged part of its air conditioning system.
The post says a lightning strike overnight damaged part of the airport’s air conditioning system, reducing cooling in much of the terminal today (Saturday).
Flights and airport operations are continuing as normal while maintenance crews install replacement parts and work to restore the system as quickly as possible. Temporary measures are also being used to improve conditions…
