The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Fontana Station has launched a major investigation following a residential burglary reported on April 22, 2026, at 8:34 p.m. in the 00 block of 26th Street in San Antonio Heights, an unincorporated area of Upland, California.
Detectives quickly discovered that the break-in was part of a coordinated criminal operation targeting residential properties across Southern California.
Investigation and Evidence
Authorities worked closely with multiple law enforcement agencies in the region after surveillance footage and investigative leads suggested a pattern of organized burglaries.
The suspects reportedly used sophisticated methods, including fraudulent license plates, WiFi and signal jamming devices, camouflaged wireless surveillance cameras, and other equipment designed to disable home security systems and monitor residences prior to the crimes.
Suspects and Arrests
The four individuals identified are Jesus Velez-Hernandez, 35; Sergio Paez-Cuervo, 38; Javier Pulido-Ramirez, 41; and Akssel Cadena-Diaz, 29, all Colombian nationals.
