Salina, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially ruled the death of 19-year-old Branaiza Stanley a suicide after she was found shot in a Salina home in January.
At about 10 p.m. Jan. 9, Stanley suffered a gunshot wound at her girlfriend’s house at 647 Old Liverpool Road and was later pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital, according to her family and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
