Man sentenced to over 200 years in prison for violent murder in Harbison Canyon

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday that Kenneth McNally Jr. was sentenced to 216 years to life in prison after the brutal slaying of 59-year-old Samuel Holthaus near Harbison Canyon in 2023.

McNally was also convicted of a series of violent crimes he committed in the area that same year.
