Family seeks answers after teen cyclist injured, breaks teeth in Cerritos hit-and-run

A Cerritos-area family is asking witnesses to come forward after their 13-year-old son suffered facial and dental injuries in a hit-and-run crash while riding his bike home from school last week.

The crash happened Tuesday, May 19, along Carmenita Road between Red Plum Avenue and Beach Street, according to the boy’s mother, Eunice Kim, who spoke with KTLA on Sunday and posted videos online asking the public for help identifying the driver.
