NY man makes fake report to PA social services ahead of stalking case court date: police

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A New York man already facing stalking and harassment allegations was jailed again after Camp Hill police said he retaliated against a victim ahead of a scheduled court date.

On May 7, the police department announced that Ali Tobar, of Nyack, New York, reportedly made a false report to Cumberland County Children and Youth Services in an effort to intimidate and retaliate against the stalking victim.

Tobar, who was out on bail after two prior allegations of stalking and harassing the Camp Hill resident, contacted the victim and told her not to speak negatively about him in court, according to a news release. This is said to have violated the terms of his release…
