The show must go on! Kentucky Shakespeare provides I-65 shutdown detours for patrons

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – It’s one of the most commonly used phrases in theatre. “The show must go on!”

That can be easier said than done when your theatre is located in the heart of Old Louisville with I-65 getting ready to shut down.

The I-65 Summer Shutdown project begins in one week from to allow for major infrastructure repair for bridges and overpasses. Detours are in place and patience is a must pack. But if you crave a trip to see the actors of Kentucky Shakespeare in Central Park, the theater is releasing some detours for those coming out to see the shows. So bite your thumb and say “Fie!” to backups, because all the world is a stage and the cast wants you in the crowd!…
