DENVER (KDVR) — Two people were injured in a fire that fully engulfed a home overnight in Loveland, the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority said in a social media post on Thursday morning.
Around 2:50 a.m., Loveland firefighters responded to reports of a fire with trapped occupants in the area near the intersection of County Road 29 and County Road 18E.

When firefighters arrived, they found a fully involved house fire. The two occupants escaped just before the fire engine arrived. However, both were injured while evacuating from the building and transported to the hospital by Thompson Valley EMS.
Crews worked on the fire through the morning, eventually extinguishing it while also working to stop the spread of the fire to the wildland surrounding the house.
